Technology

3D printing uses additive manufacturing to build objects layer by layer from digital models. At Sam3DHub, we offer three main 3D printing technologies to bring your ideas to life with precision and detail:

  1. FDM: Cost-effective and ideal for rapid prototyping and small-batch production.
  2. SLA: Delivers high-resolution, smooth-surface parts for intricate designs.

These technologies enable rapid prototyping, custom manufacturing, and tailored solutions across industries like healthcare, automotive, and consumer products. With 3D printing, we’re transforming how products are created, delivering fast, affordable, and innovative results.

FDM Printing

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) builds durable parts by melting and layering thermoplastic filaments. Known for its simplicity and versatility, FDM is a top choice for rapid prototypes and functional models using materials like PLA, ABS, and nylon.

SLA Printing

Stereolithography (SLA) uses UV light to cure liquid resin, producing smooth, high-precision parts. Ideal for projects requiring fine details, SLA is popular in jewelry design, dental models, and intricate prototypes.

SLS Printing

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is an advanced 3D printing technique that uses a high-powered laser to fuse powdered material layer by layer into a solid object. The process starts with a thin layer of powdered material, such as nylon, TPU, or metal, spread across the build platform. The laser selectively sinters (heats and fuses) the powder particles in specific areas according to the 3D model. After each layer, the platform lowers, and a new layer of powder is applied until the object is fully formed.
